The Tale of Hugo the Merchant
Hugo was a merchant from distant shores visiting Erika the Scientist, explorer of plants and roots. He sought great fortune, fearing the world’s end and needing safety. He loved the wind of sailing and the weight of gold and feared the loss of clean air and his life!
Erika the gnome was singing a nursery rhyme of earth, worms and beatles. Hugo was entranced, takes up a trowel and a lens leaving his gold to be given out.
From that day on his hands were dirty, his face was full of smiles and rain and what happened was what happened. The earth had no end and was firm beneath his feet.
