Hello

Welcome to this collection of jottings, gatherings, ponderings and possibilities that might or might not include elements of the following …

A nice sack of things makes me think of Parcels a group I worked with way back

Have a rummage in the Library to see what stories and snippets you can find

Find out more about what this is all about

So who is curating this?

My name is Kevin Cotter and I work as a storyteller, farm based educator and local food shopkeeper! I used to be a teacher and before that a puppeteer, storyteller, creative artist and candlemaker. I now explore a range of interesting projects involving storytelling, farm based learning and local food!

Kevin

I work as @enthusied which is an blend of enthusiasm and education!

I work with …

I work with organicARTS and Harvest Workers Co-op engaging people’s interest in and awareness of food, farming and the environment. OrganicARTS is a charity developing projects involving art, education and rural issues from its base at West Town Farm, Ide. Harvest Workers Coop is an Okehampton based workers co-op running an organic farm shop in the middle of the town and developing a whole range of community food activity!

… and most especially with I work with my wife, Jo Cotter, on enthusiastic and creative play and education projects linked with food, farming and the natural world.

What we do
  • Farm exploring
  • storytelling
  • seasonal cooking
  • creative arts with natural materials
  • seasonal celebrations
  • family workshops
  • community groups

… and more!

How does it work?

We can visit for as little as a half an hour pop in tale up to a seasonal project extended over a year.

Rates are negotiable but are generally around £150 / day.

Shorter sessions are priced through negotiation and discussion!

I am keen to work in interesting ways with interesting people and am therefore engaged in identifying funding to support the projects. The best work comes from established relationships and these need time to grow. Haggling, barter and good causes are all perfectly acceptable approaches.

When and where can projects take place?
Whenever you like providing there is space in the diary! Wherever you like providing we can get there! The best thing to do is drop me an email saying what you are interested in and we can work from there. We look forward to hearing from you!
